Rihanna wears a series of bizarre costumes in her “Rockstar 101” video, but most notable are the scenes in which her entire face and body are painted black. “She also dresses up like Slash, a train conductor, Anna Wintour, and a human harp,” notes Maureen O'Connor on Gawker, leading O’Connor to wonder, “What is she trying to tell us?”
