In another case of teachers donning the dunce cap, a pair of Florida women have been relegated to desk duty after they were accused of spritzing a fellow teacher who's an atheist with holy water. An atheist apparently without a sense of humor. In front of her class. The two self-proclaimed Christians were escorted out of Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, ABC News reports, after the atheist teacher, Schandra Rodriguez, complained.

The lawyer for the two accused teachers says no one got sprinkled with anything. He says
the brouhaha started when Rodriguez's class was discussing the earthquake in Haiti, and talk turned to religion. One of the students noted that Rodriguez is an atheist, which she acknowledged, and another noted, "It looks like someone needs to sprinkle Ms. Rodriguez with some holy water." One of the other teachers then brandished a perfume bottle as a joke, the lawyer says, but she wasn't even near Rodriguez.
