The fascinating collection of 100 gramaphone records surfaced after the death of a former Soviet officer who had kept it hidden in his attic since finding it in Hitler’s chancellery in 1945.
The Nazi dictator’s records of music by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov were scratched, apparently from repeated use.
