Records Reveal Hitler Fan of 'Sub Human' Musicians

Adolf Hitler’s recently discovered personal record collection reveals the fuhrer listened to music produced by Russians and Jews that he had publicly reviled as "sub-human," the Guardian reports.  The fascinating collection of 100 gramaphone records surfaced after the death of a former Soviet officer who had kept it hidden in his attic since finding it in Hitler’s chancellery in 1945.

The Nazi dictator’s records of music by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov were scratched, apparently from repeated use. Hitler banned Russians and Jews from German concert halls, and maintained there “was never a Jewish art” even as he privately listened to violinist Bronislaw Huberman, an exiled Polish Jew who was declared an enemy of the Third Reich.
