Getting a tattoo that honors your child is a rather sweet thing to do. Orlando Bloom would like to show you his, for his son Frynn—er, Flynn. The latter is the real name of the 9-year-old, the actor's only child with ex Miranda Kerr, but the former is the misspelled version that ended up on Bloom's forearm, per Fox News. The 43-year-old showed off his new ink Tuesday on Instagram, with a clear view of the Morse code lines and dots meant to represent Flynn's name. The image's caption: "new #tattoo can you guess who?"

Eagle-eyed fans fluent in Morse soon pointed out the cringeworthy error, however: Flynn's name was misspelled, missing a crucial dot and making the "L" in Flynn reads as an "R." "If the Morse code is supposed to spell out Flynn then there is a mistake," one person noted in the comments. In his own Instagram post, Bloom's tattoo artist, who shared a picture of the two together after Bloom's process, called the arm art "a beautiful reminder for @orlandobloom of his son" and noted, "Yes, a dot is missing, we know, it will be fixed." The tat also includes Flynn's birthdate, which is January 6, 2011, at 9:03am. (More Orlando Bloom stories.)
