Were the Spice Girls even spicier than the world knew? So claims Melanie "Mel B" Brown in a new interview with Piers Morgan for his upcoming Life Stories series, People reports. A clip was released by Good Morning Britain Monday, in which Morgan asks Brown, 43, about longstanding rumors that she and bandmate Geri Halliwell, 46, were a little more than friends: "Did or didn’t you sleep with Geri Halliwell? Did you sleep with her?" Morgan asks in the clip. After initially saying, "Yeah, we all slept in a bed together, but not like that," Brown eventually nods, adding that Halliwell is "going to hate me for this because she’s so posh in her country house with her husband." Morgan said that after taping the interview, Brown immediately called Halliwell (who she also said has "great boobs") to give a warning, USA Today reports.
Reps for Brown and Halliwell haven't commented on the interview, but Spice Girl Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm was in the audience for the taping looking shocked, and claimed she had no idea: "This is all new to me." Brown told Howard Stern in 2003 that she had sex with one of the Spice Girls while drunk, but wouldn't say who it was, and added that she quickly realized she was not a lesbian. The three aforementioned Spice Girls (Scary Spice, Ginger Spice, and Sporty Spice, respectively) are doing a reunion tour this summer with fellow bandmate Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), their first time performing together since 2012. Missing from the quintet is Victoria Beckham (who was Victoria Adams in her Spice Girl days), aka Posh Spice, whose other commitments including her fashion line are keeping her away. (In her recent memoir, Brown revealed the saddest moment of her life.)
