Hollywood is still apparently a man's world. Angelina Jolie is the highest-paid actress on the new Forbes list, though she would have squeaked in only at No. 10 on the men's side. She pulled in $33 million between June 2012 and June 2013, a far cry from the $75 million made by the No. 1 among male actors, Robert Downey Jr. The top 5 women and their big money-makers:
- Angelina Jolie, $33 million (Disney's Maleficent, a retelling of Sleeping Beauty due out next summer)
- Jennifer Lawrence, $26 million (Silver Linings Playbook, for which she won an Oscar, and, of course, the Hunger Games franchise)
- Kristen Stewart, $22 million (Snow White and the Huntsman, but the former No. 1 has dropped in the rankings with the Twilight franchise over)
- Jennifer Aniston, $20 million (We're the Millers)
- Emma Stone, $16 million (The Amazing Spider-Man)
