San Francisco police collared a man this week for allegedly stealing an old friend's identity and using it to get a job and health benefits. The twist: Gregory Harville, 58, also paid traffic tickets and served time in state prison under the victim's name, SF Weekly reports. The victim, now living in Michigan, uncovered the crime when he learned someone else was using his health benefits. Police then confronted Harville, who identified himself as the victim—so the jig was up. Cops booked him into county jail ... this time under his real name. (More San Francisco stories.)
