A Dodgers booster suspected of attacking a father of two after a Giants game has finally been busted, according to officials. Operating on a tip, a Los Angeles SWAT team nabbed the man and four others in an East Hollywood apartment, reports ABC News. Giovanni Ramirez, 31, was booked for assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on $1 million bail. Cops say Ramirez attacked 42-year-old Bryan Stow without provocation outside Dodgers Stadium after a game with the San Francisco team. Stow suffered a fractured skull and brain damage and was placed in a medically induced coma. He has been in and out of a coma ever since the attack nearly two months ago.
"Two guys came out of nowhere. Both of them pushed Bryan from behind, he never saw them coming," said Stow's brother-in-law. Stow was one of three Giants fans attacked in the parking lot after the game that day by two men wearing Dodgers uniforms. The second suspect in the attacks, as well as a woman who drove them from the parking lot in a white sedan, are still being hunted. Stow was recently transferred from the USC medical center to San Francisco General Hospital to be closer to his family. (More coma stories.)
