Bristol: DWTS Was Slam Dunk

She may have skipped her own prom ("I was pregnant"), but for Bristol Palin, signing onto Dancing With the Stars was a no-brainer, she told Jay Leno last night. The show contacted her via text, and "within a week" Alaska's former first kid had signed a contract—though she emphasizes she was much more the basketball type than ballerina in high school.

Asked about Levi Johnston's mayoral bid, Bristol shrugged, saying, "I guess, that's the rumor." And would she vote for him? "Well, he needs to move to Wasilla, to the city limits," she evaded. "And he's got to get his GED." Mom Sarah, incidentally, is hunting: "Caribou, I think."
