Salahis: We're Tired of Being the 'It' Couple
In this June 12, 2010 file photo, Michaele Salahi, left, is interviewed by Ariuka Ulziibayar at the America's Polo Cup Championships, which the Salahis hosted, by the National Mall in Washington.   (AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin, File)

You wouldn't know it from the way they crashed a White House dinner and got themselves on a reality show, but apparently Michaele and Tareq Salahi really, really hate being so famous. They want to "return to who we were," Michaele tells HBO in a profile of their sketchy charity, the America's Polo Cup, that airs tonight. She adds, "We've been the 'it couple' for the past decade." Yes, that must be ever so difficult.

Amusing side note: The Cup, under investigation for fraud and beset with vendors demanding money, had so many Indian contenders back out this year that Tareq used Pakistani players from Florida as the "Indian Delegation," the New York Post reports.
