It wasn't your typical Monday for a group of Indonesian lawmakers and journalists, who got a shock when an online porn video steamed up dozens of computer monitors outside the parliament press room—for the long 10 minutes witnesses say it took security guards to shut down the computers. House Secretary-General Nining Indra said the surprise viewing was probably caused by someone trying to access a porn site on the computer system.
She said officials would use closed-circuit TV footage to investigate. The touch-screen monitors are used by visitors to check parliament's agenda and other political activities. Indonesian authorities have been trying to crack down on porn ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, which starts next week.
