The Frisky rounds up the 10 best: Young love: When war broke out in Ethiopia, 16-year-old Sysay Tedros and her family fled to England, and Sysay lost track of her boyfriend Getu. Ten years later, she reconnected with old friends on Facebook who gave her Getu’s number—and they followed through with their plan to get married. Military romance: Jamie Benefit corresponded with soldier Jeremy Clayton during the Gulf War and found him 19 years later on Facebook. They met face to face for the first time and soon fell in love. Loneliness pays off: Divorced author Walter Kirn was alone on Christmas Eve, trolling Facebook to see if any friends, or friends' friends, were in a similar situation. He found a woman stranded at an airport, and the two—who had never spoken before—struck up a conversation and, later, a relationship. Venting pays off: Jenece Whitted posted a status update about her frustration with the dating game, and an old classmate commented on it, agreeing with her. That led to phone conversations, which led to him moving to Arizona to be with her—and proposing.
