Using the alias "William Breathes," a Colorado man has an occupation borne from the the legalization of medical marijuana. Remarkably, his job is to get high and write about it. Colorado legalized the medical use of marijuana a decade ago, and it now has approximately 100,000 licensed users. That's a fair-sized demographic, and the Westword Paper in Denver took notice and hired Breathes, a 15-year consumer and writer with a journalism degree, to pen reviews.
With bong in hand, he exhales, tastes the smoke, and writes his description of the high he feels and the effects on his body. Although he feels the buzz he gets is a pleasant side effect, he insists that his main reason for consumption is that "pot helps me." CNN has a video interview with him.
