Alvin Greene has just launched his first campaign video, and it is priceless. Titled "Alvin Greene Is on the Scene," the video features a dopey hip-hop mix, with some choice lyrics like, "Well Greene's a new face in politics / And he don't show porno to college chicks." Or how about: "Alvin Greene is the one for you / He knows how you feel because he's unemployed, too."
In another questionable image move, the candidate for US Senate from South Carolina splices in lots of random shots of LeBron James dunking. Honestly, its impossible to tell whether the video is a parody. The New York Times is reporting on it as though it's legit, however, and the end credits say it was produced and directed by Alvin Greene. They also list "Dad" as "first camera" and atrribute the music to "MC Grassroots feat, The Real Americans, mixxed by Defeat Demint Posse."
