Restraining orders, 911 calls, and tales of murder-for-hire: New twists continue to arise in the odd case of Kyron Horman. The latest comes from a landscaper who had been employed by the family—he said the missing 7-year-old's stepmom asked him to kill her husband six or seven months before Kyron vanished, reports the Oregonian. Sources say Terri Horman offered the man "a large sum of money" to do the deed.
The information was reportedly shared with her husband, Kaine, last weekend, and was the reason he left the house and filed for divorce, says the newspaper, which adds that investigators also recorded a brief June 26 conversation between Terri and the landscaper. Terri has denied the murder-for-hire allegation. The local sheriff's department released a statement after the story broke, saying it had no comment.
