A tale of woe from one would-be iPad owner in Palo Alto reveals a strange fact: Apple's stores won't accept cash for the device. A disabled woman on a fixed income learned about the sales policy after saving up her 600 bucks only to be turned away at the counter, reports ABC News. Apple confirms that its policy is "a limit of two iPads per customer and you must pay by credit or debit card." It didn't explain the rationale of the no-cash rule, which also applies to iPhones.
