After O.J. Simpson's debacle stealing back his own signed footballs and photographs in Las Vegas, the Washington Post asks, just who would want it anyway? While the multibillion-dollar market for sports memorabilia booms, material from Simpson's career is nearly worthless—in fact, a Simpson-signed helmet will run you less than an unsigned one.

At conventions or auctions Juice memorabilia is nowhere to be seen, preempted in some places by an "O.J. Simpson Policy" that dissuades dealers from the market. The desire for sports criminalia just isn't there: While the value of beloved figures such as Peyton Manning or Ted Williams soars, the Post writes, "Simpson makes Michael Vick's gear look upscale."
