LeBron Wins MVP in Landslide

LeBron James became the 10th player in NBA history to win two consecutive MVP awards yesterday, in a landslide vote that surprised pretty much no one. The Cavaliers forward earned 116 of 123 possible first place votes, and like last year accepted the award in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. But it was an uneasy moment for Cavs fans, the AP reports, with the fear of LeBron's potentially imminent exit hanging over the proceedings.

LeBron stopped the ceremony to call his teammates to the stage. "My name may be put on the front of that trophy, but these guys have a lot to do with it," he said. But asked how he could leave "all this," LeBron didn't exactly reassure anyone that he was staying. "I love this place to death," he said. "No matter where life may head me, I'm never gone from here."
