Rotten Neighbor warns prospective buyers about annoying people who might live nearby.   (screen grab)

Does your neighbor have a yard full of yappy dogs? How about a subwoofer big enough to rattle your china? Now you can report the jerk on RottenNeighbor.com, a site dedicated to letting aggrieved homeowners and renters vent—and warn those considering moving  nearby. The program uses Google Maps to display user-submitted complaints, searchable by zip code, ABC News reports.

The complaints range from serious (allegations of domestic abuse) to more petty (too-sensitive car alarms) to downright helpful (an annoying accordionist "does respond to being sprayed with a hose"). The site is still in beta mode, and the programmer is working to iron out some kinks, including slow load times and overcrowding in populous cities like New York and LA. (More housing stories.)
