Sarah Palin can easily look back on her $125,000 salary in Alaska as chump change. Since quitting the governor's post in July, she's pulled in at least $12 million, reports ABC News. The number is based on public records and news accounts and could actually be much higher. More than half is from her book, and the rest from six-figure speaking fees, TV appearances, and her upcoming reality show on TLC.
Palin "is now a private citizen," an aide told ABC when asked about the amount. "As a result, her fees and earnings are private." (More Sarah Palin stories.)
