It looks like Hutaree membership was more than a sideline for the Stone family. These pictures, which Talking Points Memo dug up on Facebook, appear to show the fatigues-and assault-rifles-themed wedding of Tina Kelley and David Stone, the leader of the Hutaree. Both Tina and David are currently in custody charged with a plot to kill police officers, as are their two adult children and five other Hutaree members.
Several of the indicted militiamen appear to be in that first wedding shot, in which even the bride brandishes a rifle in front of the militia flag. The photos were uploaded last December, when Kelley changed her relationship status to “married.” Her profile image is a picture of a Colonial Christian Republic patch, an image that’s also prominent on the Hutaree’s website. She’s friends with the “Hutaree Christian Militia.” (More Hutaree stories.)
