Filming Remember Me “was the most ridiculous experience,” recalls Robert Pattinson, thanks to the fans and paparazzi constantly swarming the Twilight hottie. But the movie was a refreshing change for both him and co-star Emilie de Ravin of Lost: They both showed they could actually act, writes John Powers in Vogue. "Where Twilight treats him as the object of desire, a role that requires as much posing as acting, this character-driven drama brings out his most emotionally complex performance so far. Pattinson is now the one doing the chasing."
For her part, de Ravin, known as Lost’s babymama Claire, finally got to do something other than “always holding the baby in every scene while everybody else was going off shooting people,” as she says. "Rob and Emilie are gifted actors who really like each other," says Remember Me's director, "and the movie reveals them in a whole new way."
