The Aussie banker caught viewing racy photos on live TV will keep his job. David Kiely, an employee at Sydney-based Macquarie Private Wealth, shot to fame after he was filmed looking at pictures of model Miranda Kerr on his computer while a colleague spoke on television. A Macquarie rep told CNN the the decision about Kiely's job was made "in accordance with Macquarie established policies and practices." She also apologized "for any offense that may have been caused."
The video has become an Internet sensation, getting more than 1.3 million YouTube hits and spawning Kiely Facebook support groups and an online petition to save his job.The petition noted that Kiely "seems like a nice bloke" and that "there's just too much political correctness in this world anyway."
