Eliot Spitzer gave his thoughts on everything from the market meltdown to the Madoff scandal in a wide-ranging interview with Big Think—but who cares about any of that stuff, when Client No. 9 also talked looooove—and Tiger Woods? When asked what advice he would give Tiger, he sagely recommended the golfer “look within” before going on to offer the even sager, “When you know something’s stupid, don’t do it.”
Another awkward portion of the interview comes when Spitzer is asked to expound on love: “The sort of exaltation of first meeting and falling in love is, I think everybody would admit, is different than the feelings that you might have after 25 years,” he says, before awkwardly adding, “When my wife is watching this, she may say, 'What are you talking about?' But it is.” Bonus highlight: When asked if it was “true about the socks,” he replies simply, “No.” Watch the entire interview here.
