Gaming Worse for Kids Than Porn: Ron Jeremy

If there’s anything odder than legendary porn star Ron Jeremy showing up the Consumer Electronics Show, it’s said legendary porn star pooh-poohing one of the sacred cows of the people he was talking to. CES coincided with the Adult Entertainment Expo, and Jeremy wandered over to participate in something called the “Great Porn Debate”—in which he said studies have found that violent video games have "a much bigger negative influence on kids" than porn.

Some attendees were flabbergasted. “It’s rather hypocritical behavior” that doesn’t actually “speak up for pornography’s merits,” a blogger tells the BBC. Jeremy “should know better.” Just why Ron Jeremy should know better was unclear. Another attendee conceded that Jeremy was at least half right.
