FBI's Just-Opened Jackson Files Reveal Child Sex Cases

The FBI today released its files on Michael Jackson under the Freedom of Information Act, and the results are not flattering: Nearly half of the 333 pages of documents relate to child molestation:

• In 1993, the LAPD asked the FBI if they would be interested in charging Jackson for transporting a minor across state lines for immoral purposes—the bureau declined.

• A second case, opened in 2004, saw FBI in New York interviewing an alleged Jackson victim who refused to testify, thus killing the chances of prosecuting the case, the New York Post reports.
• The manager of Jackson's estate from 1988 to 1990 said he saw Jackson fondling young boys on two occasions.
• One record claims that Jackson made an "indecent telephone call" to a male British teenager in 1979.
• A couple who shared a train with Jackson in 1992 told cops that Jackson was very possessive of a 12- or -13-year-old boy at night, and that they heard "questionable" noises through the wall.
