Elin Heads to Sweden for Holidays —Without Tiger

Tiger Woods' wife is heading to Sweden with the kids for the holidays, but the humiliated champ is staying behind to hang with pals, according to sources. "He's talking about going away with two or three of his friends, just the boys," a buddy tells the New York Daily News. "They've been trying to figure out a place that would be safe" from the media.

Some of the friends' wives are not so pleased their husbands will be MIA over the holidays. Elin Nordregren Woods and kids, meanwhile, will spend time with her family over the holidays in Sweden, but probably not at the home she recently purchased there. The friend described Woods as "contrite but disoriented." He "still can't believe this is happening," said the chum. Woods is stressed out, but "not on sedatives," the friend added.
