Jurors in the Amanda Knox trial in Italy have begun deliberations and are expected to have a verdict today or tomorrow. Knox and co-defendant Raffaele Sollecito face life sentences if convicted of murdering Meredith Kercher in 2007. Knox, a Seattle native, made an emotional appeal to jurors yesterday to not brand her an "assassin."
