Howard Stern is making waves today for filling out his Screen Actors Guild nominations during his morning radio show—and explaining that his votes are going almost exclusively to actors who appeared on his show. “I'm going to take this seriously and reward our friends. I don’t give a shit if they were good or not."
That's good news for Jimmy Fallon, who got Stern's nod for his performance as Hot Tub Johnny Rocket in Whip It, notes the Wrap. Not so much for Robert de Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, or Larry David. "I don’t care if they’re good actors," said Stern, one of 2,100 SAG members randomly selected to be on the nominating committee for the annual awards.
