Captain Kirk thinks Rush Limbaugh’s full of it. In this truly surreal clip from an upcoming episode of Shatner’s Raw Nerve, seen on Huffington Post, the actor gets into a heated back-and-forth with Limbaugh over health care. Shatner poses his premise that under the current system, "If you have money, you are going to get health care," and otherwise you're out of luck. Limbaugh has no problem with that: "If you have money you're gonna get a house on the beach. If you don't have money you're gonna live in a bungalow somewhere."
"Right," Shatner responds, "but we're talking about health care." Limbaugh: "What's the difference?" Shatner goes on to say, "the health care system today is breaking the country.” Limbaugh disagrees. “We’re told that because that’s how they get us to go along and act like sheep,” he replies, until Shatner cuts him off. “How do you know that?” he asks. “The sum total of what I want to ask you politically is how do you know?” (More William Shatner stories.)
