Mom-to-Be Plans to Broadcast Birth Online

A Minnesota mom-to-be has been blogging about her pregnancy daily for months and plans to bring readers into the delivery room with a live online broadcast of the birth. Lynsee and her husband agreed to a request from online community MomsLikeMe to allow a tasteful video of the birth, she tells ABC News. There won't be any graphic "over-the-midwife's shoulder shots," although she does plan to chat online from the delivery room, pain permitting.

"We wanted to share this experience," says Lynsee, whose husband agreed to the idea after some initial hesitation. "It was a way for me to teach. A way for me to use myself as a textbook." Many people might consider it a step too far in sharing experiences, a producer at MomLogic.com says, but young mothers like 23-year-old Lynsee have "lived a lot more of their lives online" than older moms.
