All six bodies found in the Cleveland home of a convicted rapist were female, and all were apparently strangled, police say. None of the victims found at the home of Anthony Sowell has been identified, a coroner's spokesman said today, and relatives of missing women have been coming forward to share and seek information. One of the bodies could be that of Sowell's sister, WTAM radio reports.
The first bodies were found Thursday night when police went to Sowell's home to arrest him on a new rape charge. Police say Sowell had spent 15 years in prison for a 1989 rape. The 50-year-old Sowell has been arrested, but no charges have been filed. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying missing people who may have been victims.
