TMZ got an “I’m sorry” out of Maria Shriver a day after exposing her law-breaking habit of using her cell phone while driving. Hubby Arnold Schwarzenegger—who happened to sign the particular law that bans it—promised “swift action.” What does that mean? “I will be donating my favorite old cell phone” to charity, Shriver says in a statement. “That's my version of swift action with a higher purpose.”
Shriver also, apparently, got herself legal with a hands-free device, leading Matt Lauer to disclose on Today that "I was emailing her back and forth yesterday. Actually she was texting me on her brand new hands-free device"—as TMZ notes, presumably "she wasn't driving when she did it." (More Maria Shriver stories.)
