Size Zero Mom Trounces Big Boys in Eating Competition

Juliet Lee only eats one meal a day—but sometimes it’s a really big meal. The 44-year-old, who weights in at 100 pounds, is the 11th ranked competitive eater in the world, but she swears she never practices. The talent comes entirely from her one-meal-a-day habit. “It’s natural,” she tells the Washington Post, “If I ever start training, they going to be really scared of me.”

Her competitors don’t buy that. “She’s lying,” says Tim “Gravy” Brown. “Everybody who’s semi-decent in this sport trains in some way.” That’s not the only beef some have with Lee. Some have questioned her eating ethics ever since she left sodden hamburger buns on the table in one competition. “They say I hide food in my bra,” she says, laughing. “They just don’t like to lose to a woman.” (More Juliet Lee stories.)
