Here’s what the critics are saying: Reluctant longtime fan Linda Stasi of the New York Post was surprised that “the new tenants actually made me forget the old tenants rather quickly.” The new show is “classier” but still boasts “plenty of cheese.” Alan Sepinwall of the Star Ledger disagrees. Compared to the Locklear years, this new cast “feels like a kid playing dress-up.” Still, it manages to be entertaining. It’s not a good show, “but it’s more honest and enthusiastic about its badness, you know?” But Mary McNamera of the LA Times says the characters are too cliché “to care, even the least little bit, who did what and why and what will happen next.” It's a remake where everything's been said and done before.
