I Love You, Man's friendly title clearly wasn’t directed at former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat—whose namesake in the movie is a dog. Now the popular leader’s daughter is suing DreamWorks for the affront, the AP reports. “This has caused serious psychological and moral damages to the plaintiff, as President Sadat is a prominent figure in Arab history, and Egyptian history in particular,” said a lawyer for Rokaya Sadat.

When the bromance opened in Egypt last month, censors had already cut the scene in which actor Jason Segel’s character says the dog resembles the assassinated president, who won a Nobel Prize for brokering peace with Israel in the 1970s. Sadat’s daughter has been a fierce defender of her father’s name, winning a $27,000 libel suit against the daughter of Sadat’s predecessor. But her chances against Hollywood are less clear.
