A Florida town is requiring its employees to wear underwear and deodorant under a new dress code passed this month, the Tampa Tribune reports. Aimed at promoting “strict personal hygiene,” the rules ban “sexually provocative” apparel and forbid “the observable lack of undergarments and exposed undergarments.” Brooksville’s mayor cast the lone dissenting vote. “I think in a way it takes away freedom of choice,” he said.
