Rush Limbaugh is willing to back Sonia Sotomayor if her nomination to the Supreme Court offers even the “opportunity” of overturning Roe v. Wade, Politico reports. Limbaugh noted today on his radio show that Sotomayor “doesn't have a clear record on abortion” and is a Catholic. “I don't know if it will ever happen,” the host said, but he may support her if an anti-abortion decision is possible.

“I can see a possibility of supporting this nomination if I can be convinced that she does have a sensibility toward life in a legal sense,” Limbaugh said. But Rush didn’t backtrack on calling the judge a racist: “I'm not retracting it. Nobody's refuted it,” he said. “When she says she'd do a better job than a white guy, what is it? It's racism, reverse racism, whatever, but it's still racism. She would bring a form of racism, bigotry to the court.” (More Rush Limbaugh stories.)
