A Harvard student ordered off campus in the wake of the fatal shooting earlier this month has accused the university of singling her out because she is black, the Boston Globe reports. Chanequa Campbell has been banned from campus and told she will not graduate. She is friends with the girlfriend of accused killer Jordan Copney, but insists she has no connection with the shooting and never met the victim.

"I'm hurt and I'm confused. For me not to be graduating is frustrating," Campbell told the New York Post. "Harvard is doing this to me because I'm black, I'm poor, and I'm from Brooklyn." Investigators believe Copney, who is not a student, gained access to campus by using somebody's else's swipe card but Campbell denies he borrowed hers.
