Nadya Suleman shrugged off a legal filing by lawyer Gloria Allred today that aims to stop the Octo-Mom from financially exploiting her kids, Radar and Us Weekly report. "People are opportunists, and they just want to be in the spotlight," Suleman said. Allred and a child advocacy group are seeking a guardian to protect the children's finances, after reports that Suleman had inked a deal for a reality show.
An appointed guardian "will assure that the childrens' compensation is fair and that their money is segregated and supervised," Allred said at a press conference. Retorted Suleman: "I'm gonna continue to live in my baby bubble with my kids. And whoever wants a piece of me or the babies, keep on trying. That's all I have to say." (More Octomom stories.)
