Hundreds of “highly intimate” pictures of Carla Bruni-Sarkozy with her ex-lover, the father of her child, were stolen Sunday, the Daily Mail reports. The photos were taken from the house of Raphael Enthoven’s brother, where the philosopher—who was married when he started seeing the French first lady, then an international supermodel, in the 1990s—had stored them for safekeeping.
Police did not rule out a connection with two earlier burglaries linked to Nicolas Sarkozy. “The thieves appeared to know exactly what they were looking for, taking highly intimate prints, a camera full of further images, videos, and numerous computer files. Nothing else was taken,” a source said. One neighbor added, “It’s almost impossible to get into any of the flats here, and burglaries are pretty much unheard of.” (More Nicolas Sarkozy stories.)
