Miss California's gay-marriage stance has stirred a media frenzy among pundits and beauties alike, but none more heated than the crossfire between her and Miss USA judge Perez Hilton. "Perez, I feel sorry for you," Prejean told Fox News after he called her a "dumb bitch." On MSNBC, Hilton agreed with the beauty that her controversial response cost the crown.

It was Prejean's harsh response to the original question, not her conservative stance, that Hilton resents, the Los Angeles Times reports. Prejean also expressed some regret: "Maybe I would have explained a little more of what I meant to not sound so hurtful." The gossip hound is tallying on his blog which celebs support him: Britney Spears, Heidi Montag, and Miley Cyrus are among them.
