Musician Billy Bob Thornton—not actor, lest you ignite his rage—is done touring Canada after his band was met with boos and catcalls on a Toronto stage, the AP reports. The band cites the flu, but the tour's cancellation came two days after Thornton likened the nation's fans to mashed potatoes sans gravy during a cantankerous radio interview—in which he also chastised the host for asking about his film career.
"Canadian audiences seem to be very reserved," Thornton said in the interview. "We tend to play places where people throw things at each other. Here, they just sort of sit there. And it doesn't matter what you say to them. It's mashed potatoes but no gravy."
