President Obama and Hu Jintao of China met today at the G20 summit in London and agreed to close cooperation on issues ranging from the economic crisis to global security, Time reports. Obama will travel to China later this year. Meanwhile, high-level representatives will meet in Washington during the summer to launch a "strategic and economic dialogue.”

Hillary Clinton and her foreign counterpart will address strategic issues, while Tim Geithner and China’s vice premier will discuss the economy, China Daily reports. Obama and Hu reiterated their cooperation on a raft of issues, even agreeing to address human rights in China and abroad “as soon as possible.” They also recognized the need to work together to fix the global economy and guard against another crisis.
