A company in Jacksonville, Fl., has begun selling Michael Vick-shaped chew toys for dogs, a tasty play on the dogfighting scandal that has incurred the fury of American canine lovers and earned Vick felony charges. The site sells the toys for $7.99 and promises a chewing experience satisfactory even to pit bulls.
While the company has promised to donate all proceeds to the Jacksonville Humane Society, the organization says it has not yet been contacted. Citing an electrical fire that killed 86 animals, the society's spokeswoman said they would welcome the donations. (More NFL stories.)
