Accused killer Amanda Knox had a "strange attitude" after being told of her flatmate's murder, an Italian court heard yesterday. A detective testified that the American student turned cartwheels in the police station when she and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were brought in for questioning, reports ABC News. She had to be told that sitting on her boyfriend's lap "was not appropriate," the detective said.

All of Meredith Kercher's friends were horrified after the news of her murder "except for Amanda and Raffaele," the head of the homicide squad testified. "They seemed indifferent. They were making faces and kissing." The court heard that the pair's cell phones had both been turned off between 8pm and 8:30pm the night the murder took place. The trial resumes today, with forensic experts due to testify.
