A Michigan woman kidnapped last week was held against her will for three days as her captor read the Bible to her, police say. The alleged assailant picked up the woman in Detroit and drove her to his home in Toledo, the AP reports. When she fell asleep, he undressed her, restrained her with a gag and handcuffs, and made her wear an adult diaper.
Police found the woman wearing only a T-shirt and the diaper after she escaped when he fell asleep. She said he did not try to sexually assault her but did try to suffocate her with a pillow. Troy Brisport, 34, has been charged with kidnapping and felonious assault, and is being held on $400,000 bail. (More kidnapping stories.)
