Trainer Slaps Clemens With $10M Defamation Suit
In this Feb. 13, 2008, file photo, former New York Yankees baseball pitcher Roger Clemens, left, listens to the testimony of his former personal trainer Brian McNamee, right, on Capitol Hill.   (AP Photo)

Brian McNamee is suing his former boss for $10 million, the New York Post reports, saying Roger Clemens libeled and slandered him in the wake of the Mitchell Report on steroids in baseball. The former star pitcher is likewise suing McNamee for telling federal investigators Clemens used steroids, but McNamee says because he was forced to talk with the investigation he’s immune from such suits.
