Somewhere in a Chicago bar, embattled Gov. Rod Blagojevich is cavorting in the buff with winkin' Gov. Sarah Palin—or at least if life imitated art, reports the Chicago Tribune. The latest "nude governors" installment from Chicago artist Bruce Elliot imagines Blago reporting for prison. Titled "The Cavity Search," a grim-faced guard pulls on a latex glove as the beleaguered Dem stands, orange jumpsuit around his ankles. The piece will hang in Elliot's wife's pub.
Elliot says he hopes that a portrait of a naked, male Democrat will help defend him against attacks by Republicans and women over his Palin piece. “Hopefully, someone is going to find this irreverent,” the artist says.
