The Screen Actors Guild released its award nominees today, and left no Doubt which flick had the most star power in 2008. As with the Golden Globes, all four Doubt leads earned nods, which, combined with a best ensemble nomination, gave it the most potential honors overall. Brangelina again did well, with both halves of the power couple seeing nominations, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Brad Pitt (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) is joined in the best-actor category by Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon), Sean Penn (Milk), Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) and Richard Jenkins (The Visitor). Changeling star Angelina Jolie’s competition for the awards, scheduled to be announced Jan. 25, includes Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Melissa Leo (Frozen River), Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road), and Meryl Streep for Doubt.
